It is Our Mission to Support the Local Community

Good Neighbor Thrift Shop has been serving the community since 1979. Started by the Avon Lake United Church of Christ as a way to offer affordably priced items for those in need as well as supporting our mission partners. We have an amazing team of volunteers and all proceeds are donated to charities, most of which are here in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties. For decades we have supported agencies that help those suffering from homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, battling addictions and many more worthy causes.

Donations make our work possible! We are a donation based, nonprofit thrift store accepting clothing, housewares and furniture.
